LHCb
I am working on the LHCb experiment, in charge of the user analysis software framework. Previously I was chair of the editorial board (2018-20), physics coordinator (2014-15) and operations coordinator (2010-14) of the LHCb experiment.
Physicist at Nikhef working on the LHCb Experiment at CERN and on future collider experiments.

There is a consensus that the next accelerator after the LHC should be an electron-positron collider producing Higgs bosons, and more. Under the umbrella of the European Committee for Future Accelerators (ECFA) I am co-coordinating the physics perfomance studies of such future proposals.
My interests are focused on sub-leading contributions from so-called penguin diagrams. Electroweak penguins are a laboratory of new physics. QCD penguins are potentially bringing new phases into the game. I do precision measurements to learn more. And hopefully find physics beyond the standard Model.
I performed the first measurement of lepton universality at the LHC. Phys. Rev. Lett. 113 (2014) 151601.
I am also involved in the study of new forms of matter: tetraquarks and pentaquarks. One of my CERN summer students was among the first to spot pentaquarks in 2011.
My output are papers, reports and talks. See below.
